Connect with God

In everything we do we hope to fulfill part of Christ’s Great Commission: “Go and make disciples … teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you” (Matthew 28:19-20 – NIV) but there are some opportunities that are specifically designed to help you connect with God.  Worship and serving others are central to our relationship with God, but below are a few other opportunities to better know God and know about God .

Morning Prayer-

Please join us at 9:00 am every Thursday morning for a brief time of prayer and reflection in the sanctuary.

Sunday School-

There are Sunday School classes each week at 10:15 for all ages.  These classes are designed to help participants better understand the Bible, the Christian faith, God, and our purpose and mission in life.

Children and Youth-

Ebenezer Youth (4th-12th grade) meets jointly with several other churches on the 1st Sunday of each month from 5:30-7:00 pm for dinner, games, and discussion.  For more information about youth group and other youth events see our sister church’s youth page Buckhorn Youth.

The children of Ebenezer have weekly Children’s Church during worship and on the 3rd Sunday of each month gathers with Buckhorn Children for a time of fun, learning at dinner from 4:30-6:00 pm.  Other activities are provided from time to time.  Stay connected to find out more.

Bible Study-

Ebenezer offers periodic short-term bible studies for adults of all ages.  These groups meet in the evenings during the week.  Recent studies have included Colossians, Philemon, and a study of the weekly lectionary reading.  This intimate environment is a great place to explore your questions about the Christian  faith.
